Hey Maren: You don't know me but I'm the "Liz" to your mom's "Beth" and have taught with her at Evergreen for the past 5 years. I know how incredibly proud she is of your accomplishments and your courage going into such a foreign environment to try and learn all that you can about community health! I continue to pray for your safety and well being, and also for the many, many people you encounter on a daily basis, whether doctor, nurse, woman, man, or child. (I better make sure my grammar is correct or I'll get it from your mom come September!). Hugs a bunch, Maren, and I do hope to meet you when you return.

Did you shoot any elephants in your pajamas?
Dad you don't know how many times that ran through my head during the game drive...thanks for that!
